Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document the health and behavior of seniors, reporting any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members.

  • Administer medications and assist with mobility, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

  • Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.

  • Engage seniors in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

  • Assist with household tasks, including light housekeeping and laundry, to maintain a clean and organized living space.

  • Build and maintain relationships with families, keeping them informed of their loved one's health and progress.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in caregiving or nursing (CNA, PCA) is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role, particularly with elderly individuals.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with both seniors and their families.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Empathy and patience to handle sensitive situations with care.

  • Proficiency in basic medical knowledge and first aid responses.
